Part-time student creating automated GUI tests using Squish

IAR is looking for a part-time student who can create automated GUI tests using Squish for our product the Embedded Workbench.

About the Role
our primary responsibilities will consist of transforming manual tests into automated tests for our product, the Embedded Workbench, using the tool Squish. The Embedded Workbench is an IDE for embedded systems development that supports a wide range of microcontroller architectures. You will be part of the IDE team at IAR comprised of highly skilled software engineers

Qualifications
We believe that you are interested in embedded systems development. You are detail oriented and not afraid to ask questions when you get stuck. 

To succeed in this role, we think you have: 

  • Experience using Python 

A bonus if you also have:  

  • Experience using Squish 
  • Experience using Jenkins 
  • Domain knowledge and experience from software development in any of the fields: desktop applications, embedded, IDEs
