Infineon Technologies AG is a world leader in semiconductor solutions that make life easier, safer and greener. Infineon acquired Cypress Semiconductor Corporation in 2020. Since many years, we have had a close partnership with Cypress and are now continuing the collaboration with Infineon.

IAR Embedded Workbench offers support for the FM MCU microcontroller family, which is is a scalable platform for industrial applications based on the Arm Cortex-M4, -M3, -M0+ and -R4 cores. Also supported are the XMC industrial microcontrollers based on Arm Cortex-M, the automotive FCR4 and Traveo I, which are based on the real-time Arm Cortex-R4 and -R5 cores, as well as the Traveo II family, which is based on Cortex-M7 and Cortex-M4. The tools also cover the PSoC 4, PSoC 5LP and PSoC 6 programmable system on chip.
