Northern wins major contract from US wireless network operator

Northern, a subsidiary of the listed Nocom in Sweden, has been awarded yet another major contract in the North American market. One of the USA’s largest wireless network operators has chosen Northern’s proprietary software Northern Storage Suite to simplify management of storage resources. The contract, valued at close to SEK 1.2 million, covers new licenses, upgrades and a service agreement.

For several years Northern has been a supplier to the customer, which decided in connection with a major fusion to standardize its server environment on Northern’s products throughout the U.S. organization. Northern Storage Suite was the software product that best addressed the new group’s need for efficient and comprehensive Storage Resource Management.
