Nocom recruits new CFO

Torbjörn Nilsson has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer of Nocom AB (publ). Torbjörn comes most recently from Nocom’s subsidiary Northern, where he was Financial Director for six years, and will take over as CFO on January 1, 2007. He will succeed Eva Rising, who has chosen to leave the company.

Torbjörn has many years of experience in the IT industry, where he has worked in both distribution and software operations. His responsibilities as Financial Director of Northern have included financial management and the build-up of a Swedish software company in a global market. Torbjörn was also instrumental in forming the company Smålandsbörsen, a reseller of IT products, where he served as Financial Director for five years.

”Torbjörn’s experience and knowledge of the software sector and financial management of global sales will strengthen the group executive management’s efforts to focus and grow in the software area,” says Stefan Ström, CEO of Nocom.

Eva Rising was hired in the summer of 2006 to succeed Stefan Ström, and has now chosen to leave the company.
