Nocom nominated for international WAP award

Nocom nominated for international WAP award ® Nocom AB (publ) has been nominated for an award for its WAP Direct service in the Best Service Provider category of the WAP Awards 2000. The international organization WAP Forum presents three awards at its annual conference, which this year is being held in Seville, Spain. The winners will be presented with their awards at a ceremony that will take place on Tuesday 28 November. The Service Provider Award will be awarded to the company whose WAP-based service is easy to use, has a successful business model, and has achieved significant market acceptance. Nocoms WAP Direct has been developed in collaboration with Europolitan and was launched in 1999. WAP Direct enables the simple deployment and management of advanced mobile information services. WAP Direct uses Europolitan's infrastructure to connect corporate systems with mobile customers, regardless of operator.
