Deltaco finalizes major deal with global IT company
The call-off contract started with a small order in November 2006 and refers to a large number of advanced port replicators for point-of-sale terminals in a large Swedish retail chain. Around 50 percent of the goods were delivered in November and December 2006 and the remainder will be delivered in the first quarter of 2007.
In recent years Deltaco has focused on developing attractively priced quality products for the industrial market, and this contract shows that Deltaco meets the rigorous requirements of that segment.
”The deciding factor in favor of Deltaco was our ability to supply a quality product that was the most competitively priced alternative and to deliver the product at short notice. The agreement is both an honor and a responsibility. The customer and IT supplier are highly professional players and we have now been given the chance to show we are made of and establish a platform for new business in the future,” says Siamak Alian, President of Deltaco.
”Nocom sees the contract as proof of Deltaco’s capacity to effectively meet the industrial sector’s demands on product quality, fast delivery and reasonable prices. The contract is strategically significant and can open the door for new major contracts in the industrial segment,” says Stefan Ström, CEO of Nocom.
