Software Engineer to our Translator technology team

As a Software engineer in the Translator technology team, you will primarily focus on development of compiler backends. You will be part of a team that has extensive experience in this development area. If you are rather new to this, they will be able to support you to grow. If you on the other hand is very experienced in the area, that same team will be able to meet and challenge you in your discussions on everything from language parser and optimization algorithms to intricate compiler and linker details. 

 

You will be working with the development of our compiler backends for different target processor architectures. This work focuses much on highly optimized support for new processor instructions and benchmarking to know where we are positioned in relation to the competition. Together with the team, you will also manage maintenance of our products.

You prefer collaboration and want to share your ideas with others. You enjoy working towards goals where you together with the team define how to get there. You take pride in your work and have the courage to try new things. 


To succeed in this role we think you have…  

  • A degree in Master of Science, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work

  • At least 3 years of experience in software development in C++
  • Experience with modern development tools and environments, e.g. Embedded workbench, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Windows, Linux, GCC, llvm, and gdb
  • Experience from realizing compiler theory into practice
  • Manages English with full work proficiency

A bonus if you have..  

  • Understand assembler implementations
  • Have knowledge and experience from product development in the embedded industry
  • Have experience from work with development in a CI/CD environment
  • Have experience from Git, Gitlab and Jenkins
  • Manage Swedish with full work proficiency
