As a member of the IAR Systems software development department you will work to together with highly experienced engineers and have the unique chance to contribute to a productive software environment created by software engineers, for software engineers.
We are now recruiting one skilled and passionate software engineer to contribute in this mission.
IAR Embedded Workbench is an integrated development environment (IDE), which provides tools and features that our customers need for developing, debugging, and analyzing their embedded applications.
As a member of the IDE team, your responsibilities include design and implementation of future IDE and debugger functionality. The role requires an interest in and understanding of user requirements, an ability to build robust program logic and implement a corresponding graphical user interface. To be successful in this role, we think you have a real passion for software development and a general interest in creating good development tools of highest quality. You are (or want to become) a skilled C++ programmer with experience of (or an interest in) working with class libraries and user interfaces on the Windows platform.
• A university degree or corresponding experience is required and preferably you also have some work experience within the field
• Object-oriented programming and design
Extra credits for
• C++ programming experience
• Windows interface programming using MFC or multiplatform interface programming using Qt (or similar)
• Experience of Windows (and Linux) as host platforms
• Domain knowledge in any of the areas microprocessor architecture, embedded systems, or hardware-oriented development
