IAR PowerPac for ARM

IAR PowerPac is a fully-featured real-time operating system (RTOS) combined with a high performance file system. IAR PowerPac is tightly integrated with IAR Embedded Workbench and comes with sample projects and board support packages for ARM devices from different manufacturers.

IAR PowerPac family also includes IAR PowerPac USB and IAR PowerPac TCP/IP. These products are sold as add-on options to IAR PowerPac for ARM. IAR PowerPac FTP server is an optional extension which adds the FTP protocol to the IAR PowerPac TCP/IP stack. 

IAR PowerPac for ARM supports ARM7, ARM9, ARM9E, ARM10E, ARM11, SecurCore, Cortex M3, and XScale devices.

• USB Host stack

The IAR PowerPac product family has been extended with a USB Host stack. This product is provided as a separate add-on.

• Graphical library

The new product IAR PowerPac GUI adds a graphic library with a graphical user interface to the IAR PowerPac family.

• SMTP

The IAR PowerPac TCP/IP stack has been extended with support for SMTP (simple mail transfer protocol)

• New board support packages

Board support packages have been added for the following devices:

• Atmel SAM3U
  
• NXP LPC1768 and LPC3131
• ST Connectivity Line STM32F107
• TI Stellaris LM3S9B90

• TCP/IP support has been added for the following controllers:

• Atmel SAM9XE
• TI Stellaris LM3S6965

• Task sensitive RTOS awareness also for Cortex-M3
• The IAR PowerPac File System user guide has been updated

• Tightly coupled RTOS and middleware tools based on open architecture
• Ready-to-go example projects and board support packages for ARM devices from Atmel, OKI, NXP (Philips), Sharp and STMicroelectronics
